Kind words fill your cup fast.

Deep dive
Words of Affirmation means feeling loved through spoken and written words: compliments, encouragement, gratitude, and 'I love you'. Your answers chose words over gifts, time, help, or touch again and again.
Specific, sincere words do the most. 'You look nice' is fine, but 'I love the way you make everyone feel welcome' stays with you for weeks. You notice when someone puts real thought into what they say, and you remember those moments long after the day itself has faded.
You tend to give love the way you'd like to receive it: texts that say 'thinking of you', compliments that are actually meant, and encouragement before big days. People around you often feel more confident because you take the time to name their strengths out loud.
Because words carry so much weight for you, criticism, sarcasm, or silence after a fight can feel crushing. It helps to explain this to the people closest to you, so they understand that a careless comment lands harder on you than they intend.
Say it more often than feels necessary. Leave a note, send a message in the middle of the day, or tell your partner exactly what they did well. When there's conflict, start with what you value about them before raising the problem. It costs nothing and means everything to a words person.
Check the ranking chart. Many words people also score high on Quality Time, because conversation is how both languages come alive.
