Compliments, crushes, and anyone getting too close too fast. You push back first and soften later.
Your Result of Dere Type Quiz
Prickly on the outside, soft as anything underneath.
Across all four angles
The four things this quiz was reading: openness, composure, confidence, and intensity. Your dere type is the strongest match, and the shape shows the rest of you.

Result meaning
Compliments, crushes, and anyone getting too close too fast. You push back first and soften later.
Acting like you don't care can make the people you like believe it.
These are not limits or prescriptions, but they can point to environments where this pattern often feels natural.
Treat this as a reflection tool, not a fixed label. Look for the parts that feel accurate, question the parts that do not, and use the language to notice your habits more clearly.
Deep dive
Tsundere combines two Japanese words: tsun-tsun, prickly and standoffish, and dere-dere, sweet and affectionate. It's probably the best-known dere type, with classic examples like Taiga Aisaka from Toradora! and Asuka Langley Soryu from Neon Genesis Evangelion. Your answers showed that same mix of sharp edges and a soft centre.
The classic tsundere scene is someone shouting "It's not like I made this for you!" while handing over homemade food. You care a lot and show it awkwardly. You'd rather do something kind than say something kind, and the people close to you have learned to read your actions instead of your words.
Tsundere characters are usually prickly because they've been hurt or are afraid of looking foolish. If you get defensive when someone gets close, it's probably protection. Letting one person see the soft side without a fight is braver than any argument you've won.
Patient, good-humoured people who don't take your sharpness personally, like a dandere who waits you out or a deredere who refuses to be scared off. You need someone who sees through the act without making fun of it.
Competitive and hardworking, with high standards. You often secretly help struggling classmates or colleagues, leaving notes or fixing their mistakes, then deny it if anyone asks. Your reputation is tougher than your actual behaviour.
You snap first and apologise later. Learning to pause before the first sharp comment saves you a lot of apologies.
